Food was good. Salsa is served cold. Chips are regular. The service is not the best in regards to speed or anticipation but is genuine and quality. Lots of alcoholic options and meal options including lunch menu. Ample private seating that separates you from others so feels cozy. Clean. Attentive.
When our to eat with the family. Not alot of wait to be seated. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The price was affordable.
Stopped here for lunch while on our way back to Toronto from NYC. Good atmosphere with a Mexican vibe through music and decor. Plenty of really delicious vegetarian choices to pick from. Generous portion sizes - one entree is more than sufficient for one person with a good appetite. Definitely value for money.
My husband brought us here for my birthday dinner. It was a Thursday night. The restaurant was not packed. We were seated immediately and the food came quickly. Everything was delicious, even the margaritas! The portions are satisfying. We had to take plates to go. The place is clean, staff is friendly. I’d go back and definitely recommend.
Drinks and chips and salsa are great. Food is very good too. We end up there a few times a year to do birthdays and my parents go more often than that for lunches or dinners. Well liked in our family.
Definitely a go-to when looking for Mexican Food. The staff is great, people friendly and kid friendly. The food was awesome!!
We exited the highway because there were quite a few options on the food sign, but as soon as we saw La Tonaltecha we skipped Denny's and Perkin's! Great food! I had the carnitas burrito and my hubby had the steak fajitas from the lunch menu which were perfectly portioned and priced. We also polished off a basket of house made chips and salsa. Yum! The service was great. They have a bar, but we didn't get cocktails since we were in transit.
